[Prologue]
Diego Gelosi born in Italy, Pavullo nel Frignano in 1999. He is an aerospace engineer, dedicated since adolescence to composing experimental electronic music, he goes beyond his boundaries seeking another way to communicate. His artistic research ranges from extreme rigor to hermetic creativity, making the intangible material. An extensive technical-scientific study accompanies his immersive work, allowing him to integrate advanced engineering and technological principles, useful for establishing dynamic interactions between the artwork and the individual, providing transversal points of view. A setting suspended in the isolation of the individual and of mutilated fragments, with a disamine of desires, memories and thoughts. An ambiguous and segmented narrative that points towards indifference and human fragility, with a sordid psychological focus. He works with the nature of the surrounding space, portioning out corners as if they were the frame for his compositions, through installations charged with a mordant symbolism and discordant meanings, with a sense of uncertainty, inadequacy, and post-human incompleteness. Through the squaring, the configuration of contemporary society is shaped, along with feelings about its future, by means of an aseptic and spectral nature given by a floor full of bullets, that trampling them breaks a deafening silence of a voyeuristic and sensory set composed of an acrid illness smell.
